Talks are that the United States is ready to take military action against the Syrian regime of President Bashar al-Assad due to recent use of chemical weapons.
The United Nations is still in the process of investigating the use of chemical weapons and the United States should not make hasty decisions without the consent of the UN in such global matters.
Please help me petition the White House to seek peace talks with Syria instead of going to war without the UN's consent and before the UN's investigation into the matter is complete.
If as Americans we do not follow the process and respect the decision of the UN we cannot expect any other country in the world to.
