Not grant refugee or asylum status until current illegal immigration is fixed & there are no homeless & hugry Americans.

Created by D.V. on September 20, 2015

The US should not grant Asylum or Refugee status to large groups of people until the social and economic problems in the United States are resolved. As long as there are homeless and hungry Americans, Veteran services and Social Security lacking adequate funding The United States Government should not be spending billions of dollars to help others when there is a great need here in the United States. Once our economy is stable and our current immigration system is fixed then we can revisit the idea. Currently the United States has over 10 million undocumented individuals, the government should not be adding to the problem. Alternatively a FEMA type camp can be established on an Island owned by the US to provide shelter & food on a temporary basis until they can return to their native land.
