In K-12 students breakfast and lunch are either full priced reduced or free. For the students that have to pay full or reduced priced sometimes the parents lack on keeping up with the bill. So due to exceeding the amount of what is owed students would have to receive a substitute meal which may consist of a peanut butter sandwich or a cheese sandwich. But when students are receiving this meal they are still being charged for it. The reason for receiving a substitute lunch is because they may not have the money to pay in the first place so why keep charging? Why keep putting the parents in debt and not letting the children benefit from receiving a proper meal?
