The second amendment guarantees that our right to bear arms shall not be infringed. Any ban on firearms is an infringement on this right, and therefore unconstitutional.
The second amendment is not about hunting or recreation. It is about being allowed to defend ourselves from anything, and everything that threatens to harm us.
Firearms are not the cause of violence. In fact, areas with little to no firearm restrictions have a much lower crime rate than areas with very strict gun control such as Chicago, New York City, and Washington D.C.
These so called "assault rifles" are used in a very small percentage of gun related crimes each year. Only about 1%.
The last ban did nothing to lower crime. Why would this one. Please do not allow your right to be taken away from you. Please sign.
