Not to make stricter gun laws because criminals will not abide by laws anyways and Law-abiding citizens needs protection

Of course stricter gun control would LOOK like a fast, easy, and efficient method of preventing horrific mass shootings but it isn't and it seems as though only in the last year have we seen such an explosion of mass shootings. So we have to understand that these are new events that should force us as a country to trust and learn how to protect and defend each other. With proper training and education we can have firearms in schools locked away with teachers or even with movie theater managers. Stricter gun laws only make it harder for good law-abiding citizens to be able to purchase firearms to protect themselves. We all know criminals will obtain guns illegally and use them against you or someone else without any care for a written law. We must protects ourselves and our Constitution.
