Recent news articles have reported that parties seek to have federal civil rights charges filed against George Zimmerman who was acquitted of Murder charges by a jury of his peers. There is no indication of racial motive in the case and double jeopardy has attached. We call on the White House to respect the rule of law, accept the verdict, and not engage in malicious prosecution of George Zimmerman.
