We need someone to lead the Department of Homeland Security who respects the human rights of everyone. Mr. Kelly has shown that the color of one's skin makes one a suspect of a crime that may be committed in the future. Every child of color in Mr. Kelly's mind fits this criminal profile. Stopping 3.9 million people for doing nothing wrong is a waste of public dollars, is the lowest form of policing, and put the community they are trying to protect at greater risk. How many crimes were being committed will Mr. Kelly's officers were stopping and detaining innocent citizens? The next head of DOH has to be a law enforcement officer of great leadership skills, a visionary, and person with an ethical compass. I nominate William (Bill) Bratton.
