It is a clear conflict of interest that the Senator whose state has received $5.8 Trillion dollars in defense contracts over the 2001-2011 period (see: http://www.governmentcontractswon.com/department/defense/nebraska_counti...) be allowed to steward our country's defense.
Therefore we petition that Sen. Chuck Hagel NOT be nominated for the position of Secretary of Defense.
