Repealing the so-called Defense of Marriage Act is the first step in allowing states to let same-sex couples marry and allowing the federal government to recognize those marriages. Once that is done, all consenting adult couples should be granted the legal right to marry regardless of the state that they live in. Make marriage equality for same-sex couples legal on all United States.
