Johnathan Pollard was caught spying for Israel in the 1980s. He was convicted and given a life sentence. John Walker was also caught and found guilty for spying and has died in jail. Wentworth was sentenced to over 350 years and will die in jail. Espionage against the United States during the Cold War does NOT deserve parole. After he was sentenced, Israel admitted he was paid for his espionage. The Israelis used him to get NOFORN documents then were banned by law from obtaining. He was their hand in the cookie jar. Israel would have him provide specific documents by name and number. He was not just a spy that handed over what happened to come across his desk. He mined our intelligence system for them. After he was convicted, he still tried to provide information to the Israelis.
