I believe that Congress should not be paid if they are unable to pass the budget, handle the deficit limit in a timely manner, and create a sustainable plan for our short term and long term budgets. When Congress fails in the efforts, average middle class Americans are the losers. The Low Income keep their benefits, the rich keep their tax cuts, BUT the Middle Class lose their pay to increases in their taxes or worse yet their paychecks because of impasses AND through all this politicians keep getting paid!
