Not physically separate the Great Lakes from the Mississippi and Illinois waterway . To look at other options !

I'm starting this petition to stop the proposed physical separation of the Great Lakes due to probability of Asian Carp entering Lake Michigan from the river system around Chicago and Calumet Harbor. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has put out a report outlining other options that will control the possible spread of this evasive fish and still allow commercial barge traffic to come from the Mississippi River to Lake Michigan.
