not promote any austerity deals. We need to spend to stimulate the economy out of recession and create jobs.

We need to spend money to improve our infrastructure, roads, bridges, school buildings, and railroad. The defense budget should be reduced to 2 1/2 % of the GDP; we should raise social security eligibility to 70 years old; people who have health insurance should not be required to sign up for medicare; and we should raise taxes on the top 1% of taxpayers.
