To not punish 4 million law abiding Americans who own so called assault weapons for the actions of 3 lunatics

To not punish 4 million law abiding firearm owners who own so called assault rifles and 50 million people who own high capacity magazines for the actions of 3 lunatic's. If we are to punish the many for the few then why stop with guns? We have had 6 nurses out of 4 million in the past 12 years who have murdered 60 people. Let us ban them from being alone with a patient.Limit the painkillers prescribed by doctors who kill 40,000 per year with them.
