to not put a federal tax on gasoline. The American people in the middle class and lower middle class can not afford it.

The government along with our newly re elected president is considering placing a federal tax on gasoline, along with taking away the mortgage interest deductions. Now is NOT the time for the government to make such hasty decisions and ruin the economic status of the middle class and lower middle class. This will only hurt the economy and place more people into poverty, which will increase for as long as this stays in place. Tell Obama to put a halt to even discussing this with the senate and congress. This should be the least of things to do for the economy. We need jobs, we need assistance, we DO NOT need another tax, and more deductions taken from those who work hard for their homes. Sign this petition, and let Obama know we will NOT stand for this/
