Today I was reading how the government is thinking of raising the debt limit; implying that it is our only option. I do not agree! I urge you to help stop this thinking that "money grows on trees" and petition that the government not increase the debt limit. We all must do our part in this situation and if we ALL have to pay 1 dollar more in taxes then so be it. Increasing the debt will not make it disappear it will only temporarily end the conflict in order to pass it along to the next person. It is time to face our debt and time for the government to work for us. Do your part by signing this petition to stop the government from raising our debt. It is time for the Republicans and Democrats work together or follow in the footsteps of those who left. The government works for the people. .
