To the people of this great State of America. It is rumored that the President is wanting to raise the federal minimum wage. I would like to vote against it because of the following reason:
(a) Every time the federal minimum wage is increased the cost of living is also increased making people at minimum wage in the same position again.
Examples:
A supermarket sells food to consumers. When the federal minimum wage is increased they must increase the cost of food to compensate for the new wages that there paying there employees.
The only ones that benefit from it are the government from the taxes that they collect on the money.
