Not raise minimum wage to $10.10

Created by C.W. on February 19, 2014

With a drastic raise in minimum wage, many people will be out jobs or will find themselves working twice as hard. Many small business will go out of business because they will not be able to afford to pay their employees $10.10 an hour. The cost of rent, groceries, gas, and dining out will sky rocket. Should a 15 year old who has no skill set and flips burger make $10.10 an hour? It is predicted that 500,000 will be out of work, how does that help our economy? We agree with small $0.10 to $0.50 increases as the economy changes, however a increase that is $2 to $3 for some states will raise the cost of living tremendously. Do not increase minimum wage to $10.10 at this time!
