Not raise taxes on the group of people already paying the highest tax rates.

Created by C.P. on December 14, 2012

If the media is to be believed, the administration's plan is to raise taxes for anyone making more than $250,000/year. I believe this number is too low, especially when so many hit that mark as "married filing jointly." This group already pays the highest income tax rate while those making much, much more pay a significantly lower rate. Those are the people who should receive an increase in tax rate. Many of the people who will be hit by the proposed 39% are small business owners in their communities and should not face this additional burden while those who are making millions continue to skate by with much lower tax rates.
