Not regulate Media anymore. It is time for parents to be parents and for people to take personal responsibility.

I write the petition because I am sick and tired of people automatically going on a "witch hunt" over what caused a national tragedy that involves violence. For years, we have had rating systems on everything from movies, books, TV, comics, music, and even video games. These ratings were created to help parents be parents. To be able to look at a product or show and determine if it is okay for their children to watch, use, read, etc. . Now many people feel we need more regulation over this media, but it has been regulated enough! It would be a waste of tax payer's money to regulate these items even more. It is time parents took responsibility for their children and do not allow media to be their babysitter. Parents need to own up to their part, the government is not a babysitter.
