not release the convicted spy, Jonathan Pollard, who gave top secret information to the Israeli Government.

Created by B.S. on February 26, 2013

Jonathan Pollard was convicted of giving sensitive, secret intelligence to the Israeli Government and sentenced to life in prison in 1987. He does not deny that he was a spy for the Israeli Government. The Israeli Government, their President, and their people have called for his release, not on the grounds that he is innocent, just that he should not be imprisoned. A petition in Israel containing 65,000 signatures has been generated which will be given to President Obama upon his visit to Israel in the near future. This petition is a counter to that. The goal of this petition is to see to it that governments who contract spies to engage in espionage against the United States, whether they are considered allies or foes, have no voice in our government or justice system.
