A petition that requests that the president, acting as the chief officer of the United States of America, peacefully accepts the will of the people of the state of Arizona should they, through initiative and/or the legislative processes, decide that it has become “necessary to dissolve the political bands which have connected it with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them” and create a new government by, for and of the people of Arizona.
