The people of Uganda do not support president Museveni. Museveni has been in power since 1985. He was a minister of defense in the past governments like, he organized a group that killed Ugandans and blamed the government at that time. Museveni has always ridged votes to stay in power.
His background, March 1979 Museveni, Salim(his brother), Rwigyema(died) ordered Eriya Mwine to kill 250 people in Mbarara mosque. The killing they claimed was the revenge of Ugandans against Muslims for their suffering under Amin .
In june1979 Museveni as a minister of defense ordered soldiers to shoot demonstrators. They killed people, recent demonstrations in Uganda May 9 2011 can prove this.
U.S stands for justice, human rights, and democracy. Please president Obama do not forget these principles.
