Stripping away Native American lands and handing them over to foreign corporations for the purpose of mining our natural resources is unconscionable. We already have a long and bloody history of taking away their their lands for the sake of greed. This must be stopped.
Although the pressure will be high to sign the defense bill, we urge you to have the courage to refuse to sign it. If you don't, what positive things you have done in your presidency will be overshadowed by this one act. That will be your legacy.
It is time to take a stand and stop letting corporations, let alone foreign corporations, dictate domestic policy.
