Not spend $200 million on the inauguration ceremony and opt for a simple swearing in that costs no more than $100,000.

Created by A.K. on December 07, 2012

Here is some hoping for change - In a time of massive economic uncertainty, a sharply divided country, a looming fiscal cliff and higher payroll and income taxes implying disaster for the working class , what economic or common sense is there in spending $200 million dollars on your re-inauguration, which is essentially just a victory party for one man. As an American, I find this shameful that our president can be so short sighted and superficial. Why do we need such an expensive gala event? Please sacrifice personal gratification in favor of the country’s economic stability.
I humbly request you to redirect all funds you receive for the inauguration party to the Treasury and participate in very simple swearing in ceremony on January 21, 2013 , one that costs no more than $100,000.
