This year Rahm Emanuel suggested elongated the average school day for all CPS students, however many believe this is a terrible idea that will lead to teacher strikes, after school violence and drop out students. Before abruptly elongating the school day CPS should take a closer look at teachers, PTA's, and student curriculum.
