This petition supports the best interests of Americans and the United States government. If guns get banned or regulated it will create massive distrust towards government and it can easily be amplified by fear. This fear will easily increase crime; loyalty and respect for the government will become non-existent. The18th amendment is a perfect example as to how people will react when you take away something they desire. Now, imagine how they will react when you take something they feel as though they need, a protection from the unknown. The unknown is what people fear most, and when you take something away that they feel protects them, you will quickly become the enemy. Do not allow the government to piss on what our founding fathers have fought and died for, our basic freedoms and liberty
