I received the below email from the NRA. A a lifetime NRA member I want to let the government know I support Background Checks for all gun purchases.
"Barack Obama and Joe Biden say you want more regulations and restrictions on your gun rights.
They say that NRA doesn't speak for you. And the gun-hating media is backing them up, claiming that 74% of NRA members like you actually support Obama's gun control agenda!
You and I know these are lies, but that doesn't matter.
All that matters right now is what a majority of our U.S. senators believe...because they hold the fate of our Second Amendment freedoms firmly in their hands.
