As the NRA says, put armed guards at all schools, paid for by the feds. Pay for this by taxing the crap out of bullets.

The head of the NRA held a press conference today that called for "measures to prevent atrocities like what happened in Newtown, CT." One of his suggestions was to place armed guards at the front of every school, like the one that was at Columbine on that fateful day. I don't think it's a bad idea, but in a day when conservatives want to cut every social program to pay for their wars, we should not cut more funding for this program. We should pay for it by taxing the crap out of bullets. Not only will we have security at all schools, but we'll also make it less likely for people to go around murdering people with bullets since they'll be expensive.
