We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

NYS automobile window tint laws need to be changed.

Created by M.D. on October 15, 2016

We the people of New York want the New York Vehicle and Traffic Law § 375 Equipment (section 375 12-a) to be changed. NYS only allows tint which transmits at least 70% of light into the vehicle which is almost like having nothing. We should have freedom to be as private as we want in our vehicles just like government officials and undercover police officers do in NYS. Tints are not only used for privacy but also to keep the car cooler and to prevent irritation from the sun while you're driving during the day so NYS should allow darker tint which allows atleast 30% light transmission for all automobiles including for T&LC registered vehicles.
