I am asking for your help to get barriers or medians on the most dangerous section of the NYS Bear Mtn. Extention. My son was killed on Dec 9. 2011 by a car crossing the double yellow line. He was the passenger, so the car had to have not paying attention. I am sending this message because I don't want another mother, sister, brother, father, nephew to have to go through the pain we have had to endure. My entire family went to the Town of Cortlandt meeting, to start a petition, I already have at least 40 pages signed. The rest of his family and friends have many more, and I know if his 5 yr. old son could petition he would. I'm not asking you to change the entire Pkwy. all I'm asking for is some type of protection on this dangerous Pkwy. Thank you in advance for your prompt response.
