Militarized law enforcement are using violent means against peaceful water protectors on behalf of private interests. Taxpayer money is funding human rights abuses against US citizens, while Energy Transfer Partners LP continues to ignore the order to stop pipeline construction near the water source for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. ETP intends to continue the construction and pay a fine after the fact, without facing criminal charges. US and state governments are using our money to inflict grave injury on Water Protectors who are attempting to enforce the legal order against DAPL. Using US funds and law enforcement against peaceful protesters to protect the financial interests of a private corporation violates the rights and freedom of every American.
