Obama to run as vice president for the democratic nominee to ensure his policies are not repealed when he leaves office

Obama needs to run as vice president to the 2016 democratic nominee to ensure that his policies are not scrapped when he leaves office. Republican nominees like Donald Trump have gone on record to say that they will repeal Obamacare if elected. Because of partisanship and general dislike of Obama, they will look to repeal his other bills to discredit his legacy. That is why Republican-controlled Congress and House of Senate blocked many of his bills and were generally uncooperative during Obama's presidency. In 8 years, Obama stopped a depression, killed Bin Laden and reformed healthcare. But there is still work for him to be done and he is still a young man. Putin remained in politics before becoming president again. There is no reason for Obama to fade from the political scene.
