Obama to start an exploratory commission to explore the options of creating national laws deciding custody/child support

Created by E.D. on June 08, 2014

So many americans are affected by child custody and child support now days that this should be considered a national issue. Many states have outdated custody/support laws. For so long, states have been given the option of deciding if they should change their child custody laws--but to this day, have not been forced to make that decision. There should been a national formula for determining child support. So many states gives different numbers or criteria for deciding child support. This should become a national debate--not one that states who are pro-women should be allowed to violate the rights of fathers and further deprive them of their civil liberties. We ask for President Obama to take a stand and show that he surely is for change and family is important to his key values.
