Putin recently signed two bans limiting the rights of humans in "non-traditional" relationships. Extremist social groups have taken the laws into personal vendettas toward their own countrymen. Videos are popping up daily of victims being lured out and humiliated, tortured, and beaten in broad daylight. Those around who could stop it ignore what's going on around them, or join in on the harassment. Law enforcement is turning a blind eye.
We turned a blind eye to Hitler in the 30's. Extremists started persecuting groups one by one while the public ignored them since they themselves weren't being persecuted. If we don't address this continuing abuse, we are allowing history the potential to repeat itself.
