There are paranoid conspiracy theorists that claim we are under secret surveillance by the government, and use this delusion of illegal government surveillance to justify all manner of illegal actions, many of which rise to the level of treason against the United States and its duly constituted government. I propose that Homeland Security use its resources to identify those suffering the delusion of paranoid conspiracy theorists by analysis of public Internet postings. Once identified, the afflicted paranoid conspiracy theorists should then be the subject of intense covert and overt surveillance to identify any possible real threats these people could pose to the general public.
