The demand founding the Occupy Wall Street movement is: "Ordain a Presidential Commission tasked with ending the influence money has over our representatives in Washington. ...Cleaning up corruption in Washington is something all Americans, right and left, yearn for and can stand behind."*
We MUST circumvent Congress in order to reform it. The US Constitution allows for a peaceful revolt against a tyrannical Congress: the States can amend it! (See the book "Republic, Lost.")
Will you, in 2011, task a commission with organizing a campaign to have the States vote to convene an Article V Convention and help craft the amendments required to meet the demand? I fear tyranny if you don't lead. It's time for CHANGE, Mr President.
