We commend President Obama's effort help the Syrian refugees caught up in the sectarian war in the region. In the present political climate, where partisanship trumps good sense & the defense of values the US stands for, Governors from most states are opposing the move to score political points. But no Governor can stop a family from adopting a refugee family. If there are enough families in the country willing to host one refugee family for a year, we can show the world that a a few misguided leaders do not speak for the entire country. To do our part, our family is willing to host a Syrian refugee family for one year.
