If there's one lesson that can be taken from Aaron Sorkin's incredibly well-written and explored series, The West Wing, it is that despite the amount of information the citizens of the United States of America have access to in our constantly connected time- nothing is as it seems.

Until we commit to stop allowing our futures be determined by closed doors, we need to at least open those doors a crack. A truly connected administration- open to the people and willing to conduct all business not directly related to national security in front of the nation it stands to promote and defend can exist, and we have the potential to do so.

I want to see it.
