Offer expanded assistance to the Japanese Government who are currently outmatched by the scale of the Fukushima disaster

The Japanese government has made requests for immediate assistance in containing the Fukushima nuclear plant. This is a direct threat to the safety and security of not only the United States but the world. In addition to supplying all available resources and aid in containing this direct threat, The United States should immediately petition the United Nations for an international resolution asking all member states to offer whatever aid they can in containing Fukushima.
