The American dream should be realized by everybody that wishes to own a home, but cannot receive a loan from the criminal banks that were bailed out, yet still foreclose on homes and do not offer affordable loans or modifications.
If you have been at your job for a minimum specified amount of time, and meet income qualifications, regardless of FICO the government should offer home loans at zero interest, and deduct the payments from payroll similar to payroll tax, to guarantee payment. Effects would bring back the housing market, increase jobs,and get the economy back on track, while at the same time helping families to have the pride of home ownership without lining the pockets of the criminal banks. This will spur a better and faster recovery than any stimulus or bailout ever could!
