The news is full of stories suggesting that American high schools are producing graduates who lack skills needed for high tech manufacturing jobs. Current high school curriculums are focused on creating college students and many students do not have the ability or desire to go on for college education. These students then need to go on to pay high tuition to go to trade schools to get basic skills.
