Offer Government Health Insurance, Which Would Compete with Present Providers, and Reduce the Burden of Medical Costs.

Created by H.C. on October 29, 2011

The health care system in America is broke and, as such, swiftly needs to be fixed. Citizens should not being going bankrupt or dying grievously because of enormous health care costs. Proper health care, and insurance, should be a right and not a privilege. The government should, nay, must provide an alternative to today's typical health care provider. Government-ran health insurance, without conflict, is an absolute obligation; in which there should be several guarantees:

1. Affordability. It is a pay-what-you-can/pay-what-you-must system, based on income.

2. No one can ever be rejected or turned away from receiving treatment or coverage.

3. Monetary negotiations with medical staff and facilities may only take place under a representative body, thus to avoid everyday bureaucracy.
