My petition is for greater transparency for government programs that are aimed at creating jobs in these troubling times. This includes politicians showing special interests to donors, private government programs stifling innovation and free markets by receiving preferential filing dates and patent treatment, and politicians lobbying to get laws passed to help political donors such as the recent patent reform laws.
There should be greater transparency for companies that receive tax payer money. This includes Solyndra, Joule Unlimited, and the new controversial company Lightsquared. We The People should be able to know who is receiving preferential treatment, how does the American people benefit from this preferential treatment (i.e. lower prices or price of commodities such as oil).
