offer interest free loan and/or bailout $ to college graduates to prevent default, similar to what the banks received

Created by S.M. on June 10, 2013

Many college graduates are defaulting or at risk of defaulting on student loans due to the state of our nation's economy. Lenders provide high interest rates and monthly payments that make it difficult to pay back the loans in a timely manner. By the time the loans are repaid, the student pays much more than they borrowed and often their credit suffers if they are unable to make payments. The government should offer interest free loans to students and provide bailout money to get ALL student loans back to satisfactory status. Especially since these are the same lenders that the government bailed out with taxpayers' money, including students and college graduates. Support the students, not the corporations!
