Offer IRS Whisleblowers more protection from harassment and lawsuits from tax cheats. Also faster resolutions of claims.

Created by J.A. on September 24, 2011

The 2006 IRS Whisleblowers law was intended for tax cheats who owed more than $2 million dollars in back taxes. This puts IRS whistleblowers in danger from tax cheats including harassment and frivolous lawsuits from unscrupulous attorneys. The IRS needs to protect these courageous whistleblowers and expedite these cases to minimize the harassment. The IRS whistleblowers office is taking over four and five years to complete an investigation.in most cases. In that time the tax cheats are making the whistleblowers life miserable. The Obama administration should direct the IRS to help the defenseless whistleblowers with the full force of the US Government.
