Calculating and paying taxes can be complicated and stressful, especially those of us with varying disabilities or who work multiple jobs and may have difficulty retrieving W-2s or other forms.
We would like to request that the IRS offer a free option to have their own office calculate tax debt, based on the documentation automatically on file. The IRS has copies of all W-2s and other forms. We should be able to opt-in to a system where we register our dependents and filing status, and then have our taxes automatically processed (perhaps in a way similar to how current social security payment is handled).
Barring this easy solution, there should at LEAST be a parent-friendly option that has the simplicity of a 1040EZ with the ability to just add dependents and child tax credits.
