Please answer those petitioners who believe that secession is the answer. Please have a presentation showing how much money those states would lose in federal funding by seceding. Please inform them of the fact that there has only been one other major secession is U.S. history, and inform them of the historical significance of the aforementioned secession so that they may stop wasting time and energy on foolish pursuits, affording them more time to discuss ways to fix our current situation.
