Offer similar financial benefits and security to commission sales people as those of employed workers

I feel there should be some similar basic financial ,unemployment, health benefits to those who work in commission only jobs. They currently get no unemployment benefits even after working years. With a bad economy they have nothing to keep their bills paid or healthcare. The should be something set up to care for them like other members of the work force.
