The US Government should offer Sony Pictures 10% of the cost of making "The Interview" and then as the film's owner give it to the world as a gift. If the film bothers N. Korea so badly that they may have committed serious crimes to stop it from being shown, then they gain nothing. This is balanced response and Sony will recover something, but not be rewarded for having poor internet security.
Whether or not North Korea conducted the hacking attack and threatened American lives, they will see that such attacks will backfire. Please beat that regime at their own game.
